CCUF’s ultimate goal is to spark a discussion on the challenges Canada is facing. For 2011/2012, we will be estab­lishing competitiveness as a forefront issue for students through hosting guest speakers from industry, government and academia in two to three week intervals.

The main efforts of CCUF will culminate in a yearly one-day speaker session, which will be a large-scale event where interested students can gather, mingle with like-minded students, speakers and sponsors, while developing a critical understanding of the issue of Canadian competitiveness. With excellent options for holding events, CCUF hopes to host the inaugural event at Queen’s University to open a dialogue to an estimated fifty participants from the student community.
